Održana Međunarodna konferencija “Negiranje genocida i trijumfalizam”

Međunarodna online konferencija pod naslovom “Negiranje genocida i trijumfalizam” u organizaciji Memorijalnog centra Srebrenica, Fakulteta političkih nauka Univerziteta u Sarajevu i Instituta za islamsku tradiciju Bošnjaka održana je 10. jula 2020. godine putem online platforme. Ova online konferencija okupila je najveće svjetske stručnjake iz oblasti istraživanja genocida i međunarodnog prava.

In September 2019 academic communities in Europe are facing an important anniversary. One hundred years from the conclusion of the Peace Treaty of Saint Germain, as well as the Minority Protection Treaty attached to this treaty, will be completed. These and related agreements regulated also the position of Muslim minorities in the Balkans, including Muslims in the newly established Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes (SHS).

International conference “Religion, Minorities and Nationalities in Southeastern Europe 1900-1940” was held in Sarajevo

The University of Tübingen and the Institute of Islamic Tradition of Bosniaks have organized an International Conference: Religion, Minorities and Nationalities in Southeastern Europe 1900-1940. The conference was  held in Gazi Husrev-bey’s Library in Sarajevo 8-9 December 2017. This conference was supported by the Department of Culture and Media of the Federal Government of Germany. The conference brought together prominent experts in history of southeast Europe. Prof. Dr. Zijad Šehić, Dr. Adnan Jahić, Dr. Carl Bethke, Dr. Katrin Boeckh, Dr. Dževada Šuško and Dr. Tamara Scheer were some of the speakers at the conference.
