New publication: Poruke Ahdname – Sloboda vjere u multireligijskoj Bosni i Hercegovini 

In 2017. the Sarajevo Mufti Office, the Institute for Islamic Tradition of Bosniaks and the Majlis of the Islamic Community in Kiseljak organized a round-table titled “Multireligijska Bosna, poruke ahdname i savremeni kontekst”. The papers presented at this event have been compiled into an edited volume published by the Institute for Islamic Tradition of Bosniaks in co-operation with the Yunus Emre Institute in Sarajevo.

Conference “The Islamic Tradition of Bosniaks at the Turn of the Century: Challenges and responses”

28 June 2018 – The Institute for Islamic Tradition of Bosniaks in cooperation with the Directorate for Religious Affairs and the Directorate for Education and Science of the Riyaset, and with the support of the Turkish Administration for International Cooperation and Development (TIKA) organized a  scientific conference “The Islamic tradition of Bosniaks at the Turn of the Century: Challenges and responses”. The conference was held on 21st December 2017, in Gazi Husrev-bey’s Library. There was a total of 13 scholars who presented their research on the issue of Islamic Tradition of Bosniaks.  The conference was attended by eminent scholars, students and general public including a large number of media.   A publication of the Conference Proceedings is announced for Spring 2018.
