Research Project: “Analysis of Islamic Calligraphic Panels (levha) by Bosniak Calligraphers from 18th to mid-20 century”

The Institute for Islamic Tradition of Bosniaks supported a research project by Meliha Teparić from the International University of Sarajevo. The title of her research project was Analiza islamskih kaligrafskih panela (levhi) bošnjačkih kaligrafa (hattata) od 18. do sredine 20. stoljeća  (Analysis of Islamic Calligraphic Panels (levha) by Bosniak Calligraphers from 18th to mid-20 century).

This research was part of her PhD dissertation which she defended at the University of Zagreb in 2016. Her dissertation can be read here:
