On 9th May 2014, anent the grand opening of the City Hall and the marking of the Europe Day, mister Omar Al-Rawi, Vienna City Councillor and Member of Council Committee on European and International Affair, expressed a wish to visit the Institute for Islamic Tradition of Bosniaks.
Omar Al-Rawi, in addition to his political engagement, is also social activist in the Islamic community in Austria. During his visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, mister Al-Rawi wished to become acquainted with the activities of the Institute in order to give his support to scientific projects of the Institute in the future. On this occasion, the director of the Institute was handed over a gift from the mayor of Vienna.
