28.04.2017. – At the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Sarajevo a round-table titled “Religion in SFRY and DDR” was organized by the Institute for Islamic Tradition of Bosniaks.Institute Director Dr.Dževada Šuško opened the round-table and gave a welcome note. The moderator of the round-table was Hikmet Karčić, M.A., Researcher at the Institute for Islamic Tradition gave an introductory note and spoke about the participants: Dr.Pero Sudar, auxiliary bishop of Vrhbosna in Bosnia and Herzegovina; Dr.Hilmo Neimarlija, former Professor at the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Dr.Karsten Dümmel, Director of Konrad Adenauer Foundation. Dr.Dümmel spoke about his experiences in DDR, while Dr.Sudar and Dr.Neimarlija spoke about their personal experiences in SFRY. Dr.Neimarlija gave special attention to the case of “Parergon” from 1979.
