8.3.2017 – The Institute for Islamic Tradition of Bosniaks organized a book launch for their latest publication “Remembering the Bosnian Genocide: Justice, Memory and Denial”. The promoters were Adnan Rondić, Hasan Nuhanović and Hikmet Karčić.
This book is a compilation of selected papers presented at the conference “Genocide in Srebrenica: Towards A Long-Lasting Memory”, held in Sarajevo on 12th and 13th May 2015 on the twentieth anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica. It is the first compilation dealing systematically with the issues of memory and justice in post-genocide Bosnia and Herzegovina. Its aim is to present the genocide in Bosnia and Herzegovina from historical, legal, sociological, and political perspectives. The objective of this interdisciplinary book is to present the public with new research containing insights about international justice, memory, and education in post-genocide Bosnian-Herzegovinian society.
Contributors in this publication include: Norman Cigar, Samuel Totten, John Weiss, Sir Geoffery Nice, Nenad Dimitrijević, and others.
