22.11.2017 – The Institute for Islamic Tradition of Bosniaks and Gazi Husrev-bey’s Library organized a book promotion for “Milivoj Mirza Malić and Fevzijev Bulbulistan na Univerzitetu Sorbonne“ [Milivoj Mirza Malic and Fevzi’s Bulbulistan at the Sorbonne University]. The promoters were dr. Ismet Bušatlić, mr. Osman Lavić and dr. Elvir Duranović.
Dr. Ismet Bušatlić talked about the intriguing life of dr. Malic, while mr. Osman Lavić elaborated on the unpublished work of dr. Malić that is kept in Gazi Husrev-bey’s Library.
Dr. Elvir Duranović thanked all those who helped and contributed to publishing of this book after which he gave a small insight into the content of the book. As he stressed, this book has two parts. The first part is a compilation of three selected papers: a paper by Zorica Manojlović „Dr. Milivoj Mirza Abdurahman Malić – orijentalist sa Sušaka“, paper by dr. Namir Karahalilović „O doktorskoj disertaciji Mirze Abdurahmana Malića“, and a paper by Ibrahim Kemura „Malićeva kolekcija u Gazi Husrev-begovoj biblioteci“. The second part of the book includes the doctoral thesis of Milivoj Mirza Malic and Fevzi’s book „Bulbulistan“. This part of the book was published bilingually, in French and Bosnian languages. By publishing this book, eighty years of neglected work of dr. Mirza Abdurahman Malic became available to Bosnian public.
